'A Taste of Tin'
Made in collaboration with English Touring Opera and commissioned by the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site, ‘Tin’ will tour 5 venues in Cornwall and Devon in Spring 2012 and, over the last few weeks, Miracle Theatre has been offering audiences the chance to have a free taste of what’s to come!
Featuring Director Bill Scott, amongst other familiar Miracle faces, ‘A Taste of Tin’ combined film extracts, readings from the play and showcased the production processes being developed by the team.
Supported by FEAST, these events were an exciting new venture for Miracle and enabled audiences to ‘delve deeper’ into the real mining stories that have inspired ‘Tin’ and have a chat with Bill and the rest of the cast. It was also an opportunity for audience members to find out ways in which they could get involved in the project.
Nearly all of the ‘Taste of Tin’ events have sold out; no doubt a sign of things to come for the tour in March & April! If you would like to find out more about ‘Tin’, please visit www.miracletheatre.co.uk
