The Cornish Mining World Heritage
Site Bid Partnership
The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site Bid Partnership
is the grouping to which the Bid Team reports progress and key results
during the Bid Project, its meetings additionally providing a regular
opportunity for feedback from the project partners. This group, which
will submit the Bid on behalf of the people of Cornwall and West Devon
represents 73 organisations ranging from local authorities, national agencies, funding bodies,
academic and research bodies, landowners, and mining companies to all those
concerned with the future of the mining heritage of the area, including
126 individuals.
Within the organisations listed below are many
experts with specific interests in or knowledge of mining, engineering,
social and local history, many of which are members of our
Technical and
Area Panels.
The Partnership continues to grow and the list below

The Officer Working Group is made up of funding partners
and national agencies. Its role is to steer the Bid process and oversee
